I'm a Bad, Bad Girl

Quote de jour, well actually a joke today.
"So, someone complimented me on my driving today. They left me a note on my windshield. It said Parking Fine."

It's no secret that I see a therapist. Doesn't everyone in New York? Mine, Dr. S. is in an office with parking spaces surrounding the building like a moat. Lots of parking. The kind you'd kill for in Manhattan. But this being Westchester, we revel in our parking spot abundance. I confess to being parking skills challenged but I always park between the lines so it shocked me to see this on my windshield.

The parking lot was virtually empty so maybe I hogged more than one spot, but four? No way! Even if I had, so what. There were a gazillion empty spots. Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me but I was feeling raw and vulnerable after my session. And now I had this to add to my guilt. Wasn't it enough to place the note without the handwritten inquisition? It's enough to make a girl depressed.

Well, don't feel guilty. After all, you are talking about New Yawkers. Do they feel guilty about how they make others feel? Did that person feel guilty about unloading on you? Not a bit.
