Get' em while they're red hot. Tomato season is almost over, at least here in New York. I can't get enough of them. Red or green, they're all welcome at my table. One of my favorite and easy one-plate dinners is a green salad with tomatoes and a pasta with fresh tomatoes barely cooked in garlic and olive oil.
It takes about two minutes, to go from this...

The pasta is bucati. It looks like a fat spaghetti but it's actually hollow. Buon appetito!

Makes me hungry! I know what you mean about the season almost over. Your tomatoes look better than mine have been doing this year. Nice new blog!
