Surprise in the Woods (Part 2) Looking But Not Seeing

Quote de jour
"People usually consider walking on water or on thin air a miracle but I think the real miracle is to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child-- our own two eyes. All are a miracle."

Last week, I wrote about walking in the woods and discovering a boulder with an inscription carved into it. The serendipity of coming across it transformed my gloomy mood in a moment. When I uploaded the photo of the boulder, I noticed in the corner another boulder with some writing. Of course I had to return and check out what I'd missed.
Here is a photo the first boulder. It sits close to the edge of the trail. What shocked me is the proximity to the other boulder. I've walked on this trail for six years. How could I not have noticed it before?

This is the second boulder. Turns out the quote "My God, I am thine for time and eternity." is by Catherine McAuley an 18th c. nun. I can't help but wonder what else I've missed. How about you? What are are you looking at but not seeing?
