A Room With A View (first snow).

Quote de jour
"No two days are the same in one garden."

By the time I had a chance to contemplate this Zen koan yesterday, the snow turned to rain and
melted. This scene of icy sleet was shot through the bathroom window in the continuing series
'the view fromthe throne'. What struck me was the temporal nature of  nature. A couple of weeks
ago, a blaze of maple leaves hid my neighbors. I feel exposed now. The first tease of winter white
 rankled. I'm not ready.

Today, I walked around the property in a daze, wearing my pyjamas and slippers, my hair wet from
the shower. The green grass looked summer lush. A warm sun and balmy air kissed me all over.
In between dead branches glossy, fresh ivy grows. Nature will tell me when She's ready.

Wonderful pictures Layla. Winter is my least favorite season. I think it is beautiful to see the snow, yet only if I don't have to go out in it LOL
