So many choices, so little time
Quote de jour

The grayness of November skies encourages a different kind of beauty to photograph. Black and white speaks to me now. It's a simpler choice. Every day, we wade through millions of choices, one by one, moment by moment. Every choice decides our destiny.
I struggled with choosing what to write about today. Too many choices. We live in a world where entire aisles in grocery stores are devoted to breakfast cereal. Too many choices. Do we really need 38 varieties of hot sauce to choose from?
A few of my choices included: writing about the labyrinth walk I took yesterday, photographing my favorite summer gardens, now lying fallow but finding a hidden treasure, finding a blood-sucking tick on my inner thigh this morning, the brilliant acting in two films I saw this week, the famous designer who called and asked my advice on numerology. It never ends. Meanwhile, my other writing is impatiently tapping its foot. So, we'll keep it simple today with a quote on love.

We have bright blue, sunny skies today, but hear there is snow on the horizon.
I will be in Montreal from Mon - Thursday.
Keeping life at a simple pace is essential.
Best wishes. Back soon.

I agree about there being too many choices out there. Life should be simpler and I am hoping I can make mine simpler. I'm tired of avoiding the choices I need too because I'm not sure what to do. I am going to take simple steps to get to the place I want to be.
Funny, I just posted a winter picture myself in black and white.

Wonderful article Layla. I agree, we have been overwhelmed by choices. Starbucks is another example. LOL how many different coffee's can one choose from and the line grows longer as we try to decide. LOL I love the picture and the saying. Love truly is the very best medicine. It can cure any ill.
