Tuesday Truths

It's short and sweet today. Well, maybe not so sweet depending on your life. Today's quote de jour  will strike a chord with some of you. The colors of the season have influenced my mood and my creative process. There's more gray, replacing the showy peacock foliage of autumn. The starkness of black and white photography feels more peaceful now, but I wanted to add an exclamation point of color. It is after all the holiday season and every neighborhood is decked out in artificial color. More about that later in the week.

Wow, this really rings true to me and what I've experienced, of late. And in general. Lovely black and white photo, true to the weather today.

Warm Greetings Layla. I love the photo and the saying. So true. We never know what's around the bend. This is a season of little color and then the eye picks up red berries or a brightly painted door or something, standing out in the starkness of the season.
