Mushrooms: Earthy Delights or Downfall

I thought about these beauties while sauteeing some mushrooms the other day. Last fall in Harts Brook Park, I was tempted to pluck them from the forest floor but didn't. I don't like to live quite so dangerously. Can anyone indentify these?

Yum, yum I love mushrooms in many dishes and salads. What a great picture. I agree Layla, one isn't sure which ones will be good when coming across them in the woods, so better to error on the side of caution I think.
