Your To-do List
Quote de jour
"A to-do list can either be an ally or a noose."

Do you get everything crossed off on your to-do list? Ever? I didn't think so. I'm lucky to get half the stuff done on my list. It's not because I'm lazy or unorganized, but because I think I can do more. The truth is, it would take a dozen superwomen to do everything I'd like to accomplish. Why do we this to ourselves? I no longer to write daily do to lists. The aha moment for me was coming across an old to-do list from so long ago, I felt like an archeologist. The things that got done or didn't get done no longer mattered. Whatever absolutely needed to get done got done. If you looked at your to-do list ten or twenty years from now, what would you do differently today? It comes down to zeroing in on priorities. What really matters. This has nothing to do with goal setting which is a subject for another blog entry. My intention today: is to remind you to breathe in and out and feel the peace within you.

When I have lemons, I squeeze the lemons and then eat them.

Great advice Layla. The key for me is to not let the list chase me but to only use it as a place to put all the things in my head to let go on the clutter there. As I get older I find I need more reminders as I forget more. Maybe my database is full. LOL
