Flying Over The Hudson
Quote de jour

The words are of course a metaphor, but since the plane crash on the Hudson River, I see Canadian geese in a new light. I wonder why they live choose to live at the edge of this frozen river, when they could be in Florida. I photographed these geese just before the crash and my question is: were any of these birds responsible for the crash? I hate the thought of any of these beautiful birds getting sucked into a plane's engine. And who was their pilot?

It was an awful event Layla, yet also set before us all to see the miracle of calm thinking in a stressful situation, and how everyone worked together without panic. Many lessons laid out for all who chose to see them. The geese were just living their natural existence in my humble opinion, and modern inventions like this flying machine don't compute in their natural world, almost as if the two worlds clashed that day.
