I am so glad you spoke to the 3 young men; I am sure it helped, even if it did not look like it. So often, people ignore reality until a tragedy happens. Ice is so dangerous, even in the very cold regions, such as Quebec.

Indeed they will be, and sometimes so will girls! Guess I was quite the tomboy, I would have been with them and I never listened either, lol. Now I try to stay off the ice period and out of hot water, haven't got the energy.... =~>

Great picture of the warnings. Being ever mindful of the signs that are all around us means we must focus and slow down in our lives and not speed by. Awareness, being ever mindful and ever present is key if one wants to truly be able to identify the signs, in my humble opinion.
