What I'm Reading This Week (March 8, 2009)

How can anyone think of reading when spring is in the air? It's freakishly warm today and I've preferred hiking, feeling the sun on my pale face and taking photographs by the bushel. The delight of the day was finding the first clump of sunny crocuses in my herb garden.
I've been playing catch

I've been playing catch up reading a backlog of books from last week. I love Obama but can I we go through one week without his visage on the cover? Just wondering....and when will his confidence turn to bradaggio?

The best cover art done to creepy prefection is uber scoundrel Bernie Madoff  as The Joker on this week's New York mag.

I haven't even cracked open Summer Blowout by Claire Cook  yet, but love the cover art. After an endless winter, I'm ready for a beach read.

That cover of Madoff is hilarious. Absolutely hilarious.

Did you read what's her name in today's NYT about Michelle's biceps?

I don't know what those yellow beauties are. No flwoers here yet, no crocuses or buds on the trees. Snow melted yesterday. 5 mile run. Another today.

Your photography really gives me a lift every day. Thank you.
