The View After Yoga
Quote de jour

My favorite yoga class is from 4 to 5:30 PM. This is the view of the Hudson River from the parking lot. During the winter months it's always dark by the time we leave. Too dark to see the view. Towards the end of February, the light shifts and we end the class as the sun sets. It's a small thing but the entire class rejoices. I always breathe a sigh of relief and take a few moments to notice the shifting colors. The tangerines fading into violet . The amber light reflecting off the darkening water. The trees are still bare but the sap is rising. Glints of green peek through dead leaves. Yes, spring is coming. The ice on the river has melted and hope springs eternal.

How simple life is when we breathe it in!

Such a gorgeous view. Isn't life much better with daylight savings?
I realize this might have been before daylight savings started, but it sure looks fine to me.
