What I'm Reading This Week or Not (March 30) & A Surprise!

Quote de jour

I'll get back to my normal stack of reading next week. This view from my current beach read is my excuse for only reading one book. You'd think I'd be losing myself in some fluffy chick lit or other beach read, but what captured my imagination was

A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink. It espouses what I've always known: Right brain folks with rule the world.

I came across these boys a couple times on the beach and marveled at their antics and sheer joy of being at the beach. There is something rejuvenating in the sea breeze for anyone, of any age. I remember seeing the Atlantic ocean for the first time on a childhood holiday to Maine. That first hint of salt air immersed all my senses into a spiral of ecstasy. The miles of white sand for miles to see, edged by water in every shade of blue stretching into the horizon, quite honestly blew my mind. The rhythmic roar, the rolling surf, cascading waves pounding the wet sand, edged with sugary white sand left their indelible impression as I left my small footprints in the sand. I'd never seen the line of a horizon stretching to what seemed like infinity before. It spoke of freedom and limitless possibilities. It still does.

I am a Southpaw! I forgot if I already asked you if you are one.

Both Prez candidates were Southpaws - and so, the 2nd Democratic President in recent history - Obama following Clinton is a southpaw.

I live almost exclusively via my right brain.

Except when I have to analyze, then I switch.
