But what if you're not at the beach? And what if you're thinking bad thoughts about your boss, boyfriend, mother, neighbor, the smelly guy sitting next to you on the subway, the waiter with attitude or... you know who I'm talking about. What then? Negative thoughts fester and ferment into a toxic brew that harms everyone in its path, including you. Believe me, I'm no Mother Theresa but when I catch myself muttering asshole or worse, I imagine them on a puffy white cloud, floating away. As they grow smaller and smaller and finally fade from sight, they are out of my consciousness. If you are extra benevolent, or on the fast track to enlightenment; surround the cloud with love and light .Try it, it sure beats ulcers and lawsuits. Have a great weekend!
