Westchester Wednesdays -- Burn Out or Rust?
Quote de jour

I'm debating that thought after a crazy busy day. I didn't find time to post the Westchester Wednesday feature I'd planned, but I'd like to share an unusual, favorite spot of mine hidden near the river in Hastings-on Hudson, N.Y. There is recycling area and a few ramshackle businesses off a gorgeous hiking trail overlooking the Hudson. As a lover of wabi sabi; the Japanese philosophy of beauty found in worn, broken, faded, discarded and yes, rusty objects, there is much beauty here. It can inspire art..

and humor...

Rusting has its charms. People actually add rust to items to make them look more "artistic." Probably won't work for people though, now that I think of it.
