Mandala Mondays -- Crazy For Daisies: Pink Daisy Mandala
Quote de jour

You might say, I've gone crazy for daisies. With an unusually rainy few weeks, it warmed my heart to see these sunny flowers. It's the 40th anniversary of Woodstock this summer. I was too young to attend, but always the nature girl, I did go around with daisies in my hair and playing endless games of he loves me, he loves me not. Little did I know, the odds were always 50/50.

Caveat: There are lots of computer generated mandalas out there. Mine are all handmade with pencil crayons on black paper. After I photograph them, I may tweak the saturation or hues. This one is inspired by the fields of daisies swaying in the wind near my house last week. Nothing speaks to soul more innocently than the simple daisy.

If you haven't had enough daisies, here's some more and some moody black and white ones too.

You are so cute....
I was a bit young to go to Woodstock, but many my age did go. And some younger.
But I only read about it in Life magazine, as my parents forbade me to go, just as they forbade me to go to any Rock Concerts. Or anywhere.
