The abbreviated summer schedule at the Boomer Muse is working. Things flow better when we take the pressure off. I was reminded this week of the old saying: Keep your eye on the prize. Isn't that what creative visualization is all about; to stay focused on an end goal while going through our day to day tasks? If you're feeling stuck, look at your situation from another perspective, or with the fresh eyes of a young child. It worked for Picasso.  With endless distractions available to us, it helps to have reminders to keep us on track.  Reading this blog is a gentle reminder. Write notes on your bathroom mirror in lipstick, say affirmations of what you want at red lights and check-out lines. Say no, without feeling guilty. Keep your eye on your prize. See your life as you want it.
