The beauty of living in Westchester County is the proximity to idyllic hiking areas within minutes. This week, I trekked across the Hudson River to Harriman State Park where I captured this scene straight out of Emerson or Thoreau. Can you spot the canoe?
Remember to stop and rest...while enjoying every shade of green.
The best thing about a hard climb up is climbing down. The lake looked inviting to cool off hot feet.
Ah, relief but what's that nibbling on my toes? Nature, ya gotta love it. All of it. Now, where's my fishing rod?
