The Best Ice Cream on Earth
Quote de jour

It finally feels like summer and that means one thing: ice cream on a cone. If I could click my heels together and be transported to the ice cream of my dreams, it would be Berthillon. It's a tiny place in Paris where both locals and tourists flock there like bees to honey.
http://www.berthillon.fr The ice cream is all natural with intense flavors. Strawberry is the most strawberry possible and pistachio is the most pistachio. I'm salivating at the thought. Must... Get... To... Paris...Now... Seriously, if you do go, you must go, but keep in mind they are closed the last two weeks of August.

Now I'm salivating. Their sorbets too are to die for.

Wow, I am very intimate with the deliciousness of French Ice Cream, my recent fave being in Annecy. Must be the grasses the cows graze upon.
However sad I am that you cannot jet to Paris today (and believe me I am sad, for I am CERTAIN you would invite me to join you), I have a temporary solution:
EDGARTOWN - right next to the bus stop - has a great, great homemade ice cream and italian ice and sorbetto....out of this world......

I agree, there is something about the grass or maybe happy cows. Alas, I'm no where near Edgartown. I've succumbed to Klondike Bar
