Hi Layla, As an "early boomer' astrologer, cat lover and mandala artist I wanted to say hello to a kindred spirit!
In terms of Virgo being leery of astrology, I personally know several Virgo astrologers. My sister is a Virgo and loves it when I give her astrology updates. Of course she has Aquarius rising so that might influence any hesitations.
