This is the view of Hudson River from Irvington N.Y. about twenty miles north of Manhattan. I often go down there to glimpse the New York  skyline. The tallest building now is the Empire State Building and towards the right side is the gap where the twin towers stood. No matter how often I see it the gap is there and in my heart.
