I found this solitary, blooming rose hidden among the poke weed the other day. Nature always has a few tricks up her sleeve. And since one is the loneliest number, I felt compelled to give her a few companions.

Ah one can be sad about the last rose of summer or know that she and her beautiful sisters will be back next year, while we collect autumn leaves and gourds, snow crystals and crocuses just waiting for her.
