Cat Saturday #57--Halloween Trick or Tuna?

Quote de jour
"The blackest cats that you've ever seen, wish you a witchy Halloween."

Without further adieu, let's get this party started.

Merlin pretending to be spooky.

My cats are getting too old to put up with costumes but this gal Cleo definitely deserves a treat.

I spotted this pumpkin-nosed kitty porch lounging in Tarrytown N.Y. last week. What a boo-ti-ful face.

Domino refused to join in the holiday posing. This was his best 'evil eye' shot.

Merlin doesn't understand or care about those big orange things.
Coco with the crazy eyes was in total agreement.

Merlin finally got into the spirit of things...

Cat of the Week
Ask and you will receive. I wanted to find the purrfect kitty for Halloween and came across our cat of the week serendipitously at a shaman's blog. http://www.shamanelizabeth.com
Elizabeth, who is a Shaman/healer recently adopted a gorgeous, young orange kitty and named him Pumpkin. How purrfect is that?

Every cat has a backstory and Pumpkin's new mom Elizabeth had this to say, "A wish was made for a cat to appear. And like a message from beyond,Pumpkin, the stray cat appeared a few weeks ago. He waited for us on a rainy night in front of our doorstep. He was cold, wet, hungry and injured. He was an answer to a pray and the spirit always answer prayers when it is mutually beneficial. Stranger still, is that Pumpkin is the same age and looks identical to the cat I lost twenty years ago. I would swear it was the same cat. Pumpkin is now part of our household, and spends his days lying in the warm sunlight that streams through the window.
