Mandala Mondays -- Suddenly Summer
Quote de jour
"Unceasing change turns the wheel of life."
We interrupt this blog post to report the sudden return of summer. It's 70 something in New York today. I wanted to do cartwheels in the garden but settled for coffee outside on the sun-kissed porch. Yesterday, while out on a walkabout in Sleepy Hollow I found this contrast of summery flowers with autumnal maple leaves.

Mandalas are more than circular, geometric patterns seen with our eyes but portals to explore wholeness and personal growth. Every viewer will see something different. They are cosmic road maps for self-exploration and restore peace and balance. More than ever, we are living in a world where our sense of peace and balance is threatened. Take a moment to listen and view this video on mandalas in action to restore balance in your life.
I usually post mandalas that I've drawn on black paper but mandalas can be created in endless forms and mediums. This is a mandala I painted on the glass door of my bathroom.
