I made this photo quote de jour a year ago but the sentiments are timely. Thoughts have power and negative thoughts about another person can result in real wounds. I'd been slighted by an old friend. Normally, I'd speak my truth. I'm not one for harboring grudges, but this time it felt more appropriate to do nothing. No planting of thorns, no judgment, just a quiet watching and waiting. I haven't gathered any roses yet, but the sturdy stalk of friendship remains.
