What I'm Reading This Week --Dec.27, 2009
Quote de jour
"Reading groups, readings, breakdowns of book sales all tell the same story: when women stop reading, the novel will be dead.
~Ian McEwan
Here we are: the last issue for the year. I began the visual chronicling of what I read for personal reasons: OCD record keeping if you will but, as a collective body there are interesting cultural patterns to observe. Go ahead, put your Indiana Jones hat on and explore the archives. I'm looking forward to a new year of reading. My resolution is to read less and write more.

The Newsweek cover with Tiger Woods sums it up.

What, no photos of books? Nope, I'm still reading last week's and loving every word.

I'm tired of Tiger Wood's mug but at least no Obama. Hasn't anyone heard of over-exposure?

It's weird how we've become celebrity culture vultures.
