I couldn't agree more. Last summer, the farm where I buy my produce from is a foodie's paradise. There is nothing sexier than a ripe tomato. The romas would even sport the odd nipple. Why bother buying anemic or wooden tomatoes in the dead of winter. It's tomato abstinence for me as I dream of next summer. As inspiration week continues, what would you love to sink your teeth into this week?

I used to hate tomatoes, but now love them, and would practically kill for farm tomatoes this time of year. I live on fresh cooked tomato soup.

hmm... tomatoes. How do you guys prepare them? Usually, we use tomatoes for side dishes, but it's really more fun to throw them at people (especially politicians). =)
