Cat Saturday & Kitty Wisdom 101 Our First Blog Award

Merlin was the model for this aphorism from Marty Rubin AKA Nothing Profound. Marty is my favorite aphorism maven. For more gems go to his blog: Out of Context: Pieces of Life http://wwwaphorismscom.blogspot.com
Just because it's the dead of winter and because I can, here's double dose of kitty wisdom 101. How are those new years resolutions coming along?
Link of the week:
Cats already rock our world but will they mete out justice as well? This bean town kitty is invited for jury duty. True story.

7 things about me you don't know... hmmm, I thought you knew everything.
1) If I had to rescue only two things from my burning house, it would be my cats, Merlin & Coco. 2) I could eat Japanese food every day. 3) I have rolled in the snow naked after a sauna. 4) I could kill for chocolate, no not really, but I eat it every day. 5) I was computer phobic and didn't use one until 2000! 6) My guilty pleasure is the junkiest reality TV. 7) Most of my relatives live in Finland.
I nominate the following blogs for Kreativ Awards.
2) Cat loving writer Cat Bauer lives in Venice, Italy http://www.venetiancat.blogspot.com
There's a new cat in town and I smell trouble. I woke up to caterwauling (don't you love that word?). Domino my feral kitty was defending his turf against a long-haired black cat as long as leopard. This black cat looked like a relative of Lunesta and Ambien, two feral siblings who lived nearby, a few years ago. Today, Domino emerged bloodied but victorious from another fight cat and is keeping watch from a carpet covered perch on the porch.

It was fun to get to know some more little things about you. I'm particuarly intrigued by the recent computer phobia, and four years later, you're a blogger. Cool!
I'm assuming Domino considers your property his territory? As long as you leave the food for Rambo on the very edges of it, you should, hopefully, be okay.

Yes, he considers his turf to be ours and the neighbor's totaling about three acres. Please tell Amber to send some healing prayers to her Lothario.

Yes, only Saturday. And yes, we can only do what we can do to help animals in need. The need always exceeds the help but every little bit helps.
