It wasn't supposed to snow last night but it did. Snow, nature's equalizer hides beauty and ugliness without exception. The garden chair waits patiently for spring. I remember sitting on it, the wood, butt-burning hot from the sun and smile.

Our snow started in the last hour. I was gong to go for a run, but...looks like I will do calisthenics and then exercise in the attic.

btw, did you hear that Salinger just died at 91? I did not know he was that old...
Maybe he left personal papers that will come to light.

What a beautiful post. Great book review and the cats always still my heart, I live with two cats myself. By the way after years of answering my wife's questions regarding football, she still doesn't understand why they go 4 downs and then start over back at one, "why not just go 5,6 7" ... she ask
