Mandala Mondays -- What Goes Around Comes Around
Photo quote de jour

Normally, my mandalas are drawn on black paper, but the snowy landscape outside made me reconsider: why not draw on white paper for a yin yang balance? We can think out of the box, but can we think out of the circle? I believe we are products of our beliefs, especially our limiting one. How many times have you thought, "I can't do this, I can't do this, I can't do this" in an endless circle of limiting beliefs? Have you ever, then switched gears, decide you can to it, and actually do it? Nothing changed except your belief and the will to follow through with action.
Yesterday, I did some outdoor photography in the snow. When I uploaded the photos today, I noticed an odd thematic thread. Subconsciously, I'd focused on round or circular objects or forms. In the spirit of "one thing leads to another" I will be exploring the circular nature of things this week with the theme: "What goes around comes around."
My neighbors left a pumpkin in the garden, which inspired today's blog. I was amazed it survived this long. When we think of pumpkins we usually think of autumn, Halloween and maybe Thanksgiving, but maybe this image will make you reconsider some of your beliefs.

It is a lovely mandala. And you are absolutely right about the circles.

I love the idea of the image of the pumpkin in the snow as a trigger to re-examine old beliefs.

Belief has been a big theme for me recently. I'm aware that my life's outcomes are from my actions. My abilitiy to take action is determined by my beliefs. I have decided to "raise the BAR".
B= bar
A= actions
R= results
If we decide to be trapped in our circle of beliefs...our results are limited by this. Conversely as we work to change and transform what we believe about ourself and life...we become capable of massive action and living the life of our DREAMS...
Dare to believe in YOU...HERE and NOW.
Here is an exercise: make a T on blank paper. Write what your don't believe on the left...make the list of your limited beliefs. On the right side...write what you do belief and know to be true. Do the work. What's at stake? Your quality of life that's what.
As you can move the items in the left over to the right side...you are transforming YOU.
Make it FUN...Feeling Universal Now.
We get to choose what we believe. How cool is that? 8~}
Raise the bar in each moment.

Glad to see this struck a chord with you. Thanks for the exercise. Writing is a powerful tool. There's no substitute for seeing our words written by our own hand on paper. It works for goal setting and affirmations as well.

Our beliefs definitely limit what we see. That's why spontaneity is so important, so we can see the thing that's there not the thing in our head.

So true. Spontaneity is where how we stay in touch with flow.
