It's Mandala Monday. Where the mandala? Where's the photo quote de jour? Hold on, you're in the right place,but things are going to be a little, shall we say, unexpected this week. Life is full of unexpected pleasures and joys, disappointments and disasters. That is the focus of this week's blog. I've found a sense of humor helps to navigate through life's unexpected twists and turns. Fasten your seatbelt and expect the unexpected.
So, I'm driving around yesterday with a friend enjoying the perfect weather. My camera met its demise the other day and I borrowed a cheapo camera just in case I saw something interesting. For the record, I could be hog-tied in a dark box and I'll find something interesting. I did not expect to see cherry trees blossoming in my favorite park just yet, but there they were. I didn't expect to get much out of the camera, but look at this diptych I made from two photos. I like the unexpected light orb. Someone woo woo might say it's an angel. I say, It's an unexpected joy. What do you think?


Okay, here is a mandaIa after all, but instead of the usual mandalas I draw on black paper, why not white? It's inspired by Easter eggs and the new color scheme for my summer living room AKA the porch.
