One of my favorite bloggers and master of aphorisms is Marty Rubin AKA Nothing Profound Out Of Context Pieces of Life
I was secretly hoping he'd send me one of his aphorisms for this week's theme "expect the unexpected" and he did. I liked it enough to choose it as the title for today's blog entry.
I expected warm weather today. That's what forecasts are for. Sudden summer, sunny and 88. I didn't expect to feel like melted chocolate, sitting barefoot drinking coffee on the porch with a new view. No complaints here. The tree guys showed up way ahead of schedule and cleared the mess, just in time for the cherry blossom season. An unexpected pleasure. Another unexpected pleasure was seeing another blogger Thought Bubble Ten post her impressions about my blog today. She'd asked me if I wanted to guest blog with her. I'd never done that before, but hey, it's spring, time for new things, so why not? I'll be parking my bare feet at her blog tomorrow. Expect the unexpected or maybe not. You decide.

There's enough to make a log cabin LOL but most will be put through the chipper, some hickory will be saved for firewood and some saved for decorative use.

Those cherry blossoms are terrific. Love the title. I don't usually expect the unexpected but guess I should start. That is an interesting concept. Can't wait to see the guest blog post tomorrow and am expecting the unexpected for sure. Have fun
