The Boomer Muse's NEW Look

Proust once said, "A change in the weather is sufficient to recreate the world and ourselves." All this focus on blossoming this week made me want to shed more than my winter coat. I wanted The Boomer Muse to have a lighter, breezier new home, like a Hamptons beach house. A little power is a dangerous thing though. I'm artsy but not a web designer. Designing a website for me is like giving a toddler a Ferrari to drive. The blog is not quite ready, but what do you think? Any suggestions? Would you like some iced tea?

Art is within you.. you dont need to be a web designer, most of their work is crap anyway..

I think the new design is terrific. Wish I could do mine over but it would be really funny looking if I did. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad
I of course, would like to see an additional cat picture.
You probably are better off doing the change yourself. Then you can have what you want and like.

My template limits the amount of photos in the banner to three, but maybe I'll rotate them like a gallery exhibit seasonally or monthly.

I LIKE it! :o) It's been SO rainy and cold and glum here that my cabin-fever level has been set to "high" for what seems like for-EV-VER! But, the sun has decided to peep through the dark clouds overhead (for the moment) and my mood is somewhat elevated. (I know it's only temporary, however, since the dark clouds remain where they were pretty much...) Nor-Cal is known for its gorgeous springs but, I'm waitin' for this one to START still. :o(

Damn, that park really looks zen-like. Wish I could go there.
I think you already did a good job with the page although a navigation link on top and a way to show avatars on the comment section will really spice things up. I like your choice of colors. Brown is my favorite, you know, and the light blue section mixes well with it. And the font... yes the header font... did you change it? Nice job Layla.

Love the new look! I think the airy, summery feel is a nice reflection of your uplifting, encouraging, positive spirit as I've come to know it on this bog.
Is there a way you can make the flower graphic crisper? On my browser (IE7), it looks a bit fuzzy and the words are hard to read.
Amber would like to add that she loves that Domino got to be in the header.
