2 months, 8 weeks or 60 days to transformation.

Photo quote de jour

I confess: I am not the most organized person. The papers on my desk resemble layers of lasagna. I thought I needed more space so now I have two desks of lasagna and no time to organize either. It got me thinking about time. There's never enough of it, and we squander great gobs of it by dwelling in the past or future instead of grabbing onto the moment. Ah, the slippery concept of the eternal now. It's easier said than done, when we are bombarded by reminders of schedules, appointments, past records, paper trails both virtual and hold-in-your-hands variety. I am grateful for my automatic photo filing system, which brings me to today's focus. I like to photograph the same objects and places in various seasons or transition. So, I'm scrolling back through hundred of photos, whizzing through shades of green to white. Snow storm white. I'm shocked at the date. It was exactly two months ago, or if you prefer eight weeks or sixty days. A blink in the eye of our lives, yes? An yet LOOK at the massive about of transformation in this brief time. I believe we are capable of the same amount of transformation on any level, if we choose. What would you like to accomplish in the next two months?

Need more visual proof? It's not magic. It's transformation and we all can do it.

Gorgeous photos and very clever to have the same shot in different seasons. Gorgeous.

Okay. I've been up all night. Again.

But I'm getting massive amounts of writing done.

2 stories, brand new short-ish fiction stories done yesterday. 3K and 4K. Both to be emailed in the next hour.

And another story, 800 words to be snail mailed today.

    And definitely going outside.

I love this - the visuals are dramatic, and they really bring home the fact that anything is possible. If nature can bring about this kind of transformation by simply being, think of what we can accomplish by combining simply being with inspired action. I believe that both are important components of transformation for us.
