It's All Illusion

The lily of the valley I photographed (above) are dead until resurrected next spring, but art lasts forever. The double exposure photo taken with and of a light box turned into a portal of snake scales, or anything else you perceive. It's all illusion which makes me think of the lyrics from a Joni Mitchell song...
I've looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
This week's theme's didn't pan out as I'd intended. But that's life. Stay tuned for changes here.

Nothing more ethereal or equisite than a bouquet of lily of the valley. One of my favourite, so small yet delicate, shaded in dark green,waiting to be uncovered by prisms of sunlight, just like the ones your photos captured. I agree with Alicia, gallery bound, hmmm, how can we make this be... Have not logged on your web for a while, my apologies, but you never cease to amaze me with your creative insights. Always a treat. I also resonate with the procrastination theme. I think Amma reminds us that our ego is constantly looking for distraction. I wonder if the distraction is also just illusion? And on it goes... Will call soon xo T

I really don't mind the illusion as long as I'm looking at your photos especially the ones that show your nice place. Don't you find it weird how we are naturally attracted to beauty? Maybe it really is beautiful where we all came from. Ahhh... bliss...
