Three Weeks is an Eternity

Photo quote de jour

I'm not back from my blogging holiday but thought I'd sneak one in. Just too many gorgeous flowers inspiring me every single day. There are two large planters of lilies by my front door which I've photographed daily for the past three weeks from first nub to full bloom. Three short weeks and yet an eternity. It motivated me to see what I could accomplish in three short weeks. Time is ticking. What would you like to accomplish in three weeks?

LOL, can't stand it not to blog. That is a wonderful sequence of the lilies blooming. Mine are just about done blooming.
In three weeks, I would like more people coming to my blog. I would also like to all of a sudden become funnier so that I could get that on the blog. Also in three weeks I want to see those cute cats that live at your house.

Oh, how lucky you are to be surrounded with those plants. Really great pics!

Your picture of the sun reminds me of an Indian sat purush named Bhagawan Nityananda.

According to his biography, he was oblivious to heat or cold and he often stayed on the hot sands of the Ganga under the hot Indian sun for days at a time. Some days he would spend the entire day just sitting there looking directly into the sun. Some people tried to approach to visit him but they could not cross the burning sands until evening.

I guess he was practicing trataka on the sun. If I can accomplish something like that in 3 weeks, that would be sweet.
