Two Sides to Every Story
Photo quote de jour

One of the things a blogging holiday gives is more time. There's more time to sit back, enjoy, observe and oh yeah, write. My porch AKA summer living room is a designated spot for all of the above. My latest muse, the climbing clematis and juxtaposed vintage shutter inspired today's theme. I can't decide which view looks better: looking in or looking out. Maybe I can't decide because each has value, beauty and purpose. Like everything in life, there are two sides to every story. Two perspectives but one outcome.

In this case, I choose looking in because that metaphor reflects the purpose of my blogging holiday. So, you might be thinking... Layla, if you're on a blogging holiday, what are you doing blogging? Could it be I miss you, dear reader? Or, is blogging addictive and I needed a fix? I'll leave that for you to decide. After all, there are two sides to every story. The one fix I can't get enough is the color purple...

See you soon...

I love the color purple. Even on a blogging holiday, it is difficult to keep from blogging. I found my week in California restful.

LOL, You just needed a fix on your blogging part of your life. Blogging is definitely addictive. At least you tried to take a break. Your clematis is just gorgeous. I have some here but it has already bloomed and gone away.
Anyway, glad to see you back if even just for a moment.

Purple is my favorite color, so I'm loving these photos today!
Perhaps it's not so much a blogging holiday, as it is finding blogging balance. As you said in your title, two sides to every story

There's a gorgeous clematis vine right on my corner which I stare at shamelessly. I'm convinced it grows more purple every day because of my staring. Whatever your excuse for being here today, Layla, it's always a pleasure to see you and your beautiful pictures.

Lovely looking flower. I'm somehow confused with the colors purple and violet. I can't seem to figure out the difference between them. Say, are you really selling those flowers? I didn't know you have a garden like that. So cool!
Thanks for referring me to Jung's masterpiece. I managed to find a copy and will be reading it right after I visit a few blogs. Mwah!
