Good Egg Bad Egg
Photo quote de jour

That's open to interpretation. For the three people actually interested in my artistic process... here goes. Eggs are beautiful to photograph but I didn't feel inspired until I noticed a lovely image in a restaurant of eggs in a bowl. I did a copycat version but wasn't satisfied until I took my little basket of eggs outside on the porch in the harsh noonday sun. The bright red table contrasted nicely with the green vines and buff eggs but it didn't feel right. Black and white proved better. But then, I tried sepia and now I can't decide which one I like better, so I leave it for you to decide since art as aways is subjective.

Layla-Thanks for this glimpse into the wheels that spin your artistic process. And the photo turned out great. Love the shadows, they really bring out the light.

I think you must be one of the three

I personally like the sepia better. It makes the picture look more real for some reason. Don't know why
Splitters did get turned down and is very hurt so we would be very interested in Domino. He does like those tories, doesn't he. Not that anyone could replace Amber. But Domino and Splitters might make the perfect couple because they are both very independent. I will tell her she might have a suitor. Thanks

You're right about the sepia being warmer or more real. I'll ask Domino about Splitters.

They're both beautiful, Layla! They remind me of "The Wizard of Oz" when it's first all b/w and then once the tornado happens everything is colorized. I love both looks, great job as always with something so simple.

Oh I can't decide either! I really like them both, but if forced to choose, I think the sepia.
