Mandala Mondays -- Full Moon & Star
Quote de jour
"Everything in the world and the universe is based on rhythms, spirals and circles within circles."

New here and not sure what a mandala is? From my first mandala teacher Paul Heussenstamm mandalas.com
Mandala Mondays began as a weekly feature of a mandala drawing and referencing photograph(s) of mine. Until I can afford an assistant, clone myself or devise a method to stretch time, this feature will continue every other week or so.
This is my usual pencil crayon on black paper drawing about nine inches in diameter.

Some recent photographs. I was especially inspired by the second blooming this summer of clematis and the snake-like spirals of garden hoses as referenced in the mandala. As always, the sacred can be found in every day objects.

It's so easy to overlook how beautiful every day objects are. Thanks for the reminder.

When we begin to become aware, the beauty unfolds in unexpected way. It's everywhere...

I like your mandala - the colors used and the arrows. I reviewed Russ's schedule just in case.. Thank you for sharing your sacred image.
