Wordless Wednesday or Why I Will Never Be a Wedding Photographer
It's Wordless Wednesday and that means no quote de jour, but I couldn't resist poking fun at myself. Last week, I bumped into this sweet "just married" couple from Denmark at the heliport at the tip of Manhattan. The bride glowed, the groom proved reticent but it capped a lovely outing for me. I've always considered it good luck to spot a bride and groom, but wedding photography? No thanks. Oops, and I guess this isn't wordless anymore...

Lovely - I did laugh at the NO TRESSPASSING sign which hung above their heads. Ahh marriage.

LOL. It was such an odd moment. I snapped quick three shots and moved on. I didn't want to disturb their happy day.

great photo, wedding photography is among the most difficult of portrait photography, I think. My sister did it for awhile. Our wedding photographer was great.
I love candid photos.

Candid weddings photos are my fave too. Nothing worse than those cardboard stiff ones!

A few words for Wordless Wednesday - For a bride and groom this day should be a day of joy and celebration. I hope the groom was being contemplative and daydreaming of the life before them.
Thank you for the pictures.

I love the look on the bride's face. She look like she is having a great time.

Great picture of the bride. The groom just didn't take a very good picture. He probably wondered who the heck you were taking their pictures. I think it is a good picture.

Thanks, he was annoyed at their best man who was encouraging me.

If it's true that opposites attract, this is definitely the photograph to prove it.
