Express Yourself
Photo quote de jour

I visited the Art Students League of New York Vytlacil Campus in Sparkhill N.Y in September and felt inspired to tweak the sign in the image above to express myself. Nothing gets my creative juices flowing like a visit to a museum or art gallery, but being privileged to witness art in the making is catnip for my soul.
One of the best stress-busters is to express yourself. I don't mean yelling in a fit of road rage but allowing your innate energy to come out in a creative way. You don't have to be an artist, writer or musician. It's not about perfection or technique. Dig out your child's finger paints and smear your feelings with your finger tips. Sing along to your favorite music full blast. Write a thank-you note (by hand). Bake bread. Dance the twist. Arrange some flowers. Listen to your inner voice and live out loud and proud. If we don't express ourselves, we are more prone to feeling fatigued, depressed and dis-empowered. You know what makes your spirit sing. Get out and find your path to self -expression.

Well that is a great idea to express ourselves. So I am singing out loud, very loud, Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer. My very favorite. Guess I am a child at heart which is great. Great post.
Have a great Turkey.

Ah yes, to express oneself. So true. And gorgeous white birches. We have them upstate but not locally.

All day I've been walking around the house singing, "The Day They Drove Old Dixie Down." For me, walking and singing just naturally go together. It certainly puts a lilt in my step.
