Merlin here reporting for our mom Layla. She's away volunteering at a cat adoption event at Petco. That'a good thing but I hope she doesn't bring any more kitties home. Then again... don't tell anyone, but when she was gallivanting about traveling, ( I can't imagine why she'd want to!) we three kitties had more fun than a barrel of monkeys. The truth is, little Odin looks up to me like a big brother, okay, grand poobah emperor and I like it. I even wrestle with him but I always win. The mysterious Gris Gris is beginning to trust me and we nap together (nothing gay mind you, just cuddle buddies).

I never thought  I would see the day when our mom (who thinks pet costumes are an affront to feline dignity) would fashion such an object. She made a sweater for Odin out of an old sweater and horrors, he liked it!





Meanwhile, enough silliness. On a more serious note, not every cat is in a happy forever home. Shelters are over flowing and 25,000 cats are euthanized every day. Spread the word about the importance of spay/neutering and adopting/volunteering at/from shelters/rescue groups. There are many low cost options. While Layla was in Arizona, she spotted this mobile clinic from the Humane Society.
