Reading The Signs

Photo quote de jour

When I was about five and still believed in Santa Claus, I learned to read. Street signs and traffic signs fascinated me with their bold colors. I thought they held messages and directives just for me. I don't believe in Santa anymore but I'm still fascinated by signs. My latest trip served up a tempting bounty of signs and their metaphors, which I'll be sharing over the next few days. See which ones speak to you.

This is the oddly unpleasant Lake Pleasant in Arizona. I couldn't put my finger on it but it had bad vibes. The fishermen dragging their bounty might disagree with me.

I have no idea what this one means. Thoughts?

My room at a friend's house in Arizona. I missed seeing this little sign at the entrance until the last day.

That last sign really is a mystery. I just can't imagine what it means. There must supposed to be some other word in there. Or someone is playing a joke. Very interesting all those signs. Guess we all need to look at the signs through life. Take care.

I've never seen one like it before. I think it has something to do with fishing or launching boats.

    Loved the pics Layla .

Its hard to believe that Vision and Opportunity were actual intersecting roads and isnt there a greater truth literally and figuratively. What we feel and yearn and want and plan for does manifest through the power of visualization attracting it opportunity in like a wonderful magnet.- Beautiful.

I totally agree Lake Pleasant was rather unpleasant might have something to do with my fear you were going to get bit by a rattlesnake or scorpion!!

Finally - I think the Make Ready Only pic (which I had no idea you took!!) might be a sign that its time to launch ))) Thank you for the message. xx

Looks chilly around Lake Pleasant-more like November in NY.

"Launch at own risk" is a sign I much prefer to "No Trespassing." More nature's and the spirit's way.
