Do What You Love and...
Photo quote de jour

Every New Year's day I like to feel the earth under my feet by going hiking or a walk. This year it wasn't sunny but balmy with slushy snowy and plenty of photo ops which I'll be sharing all week. On the Aqueduct trail, I spotted this clock, sitting in the snow at the back of someone's property. I had such a good time snapping away, I lost track of time which is always the case when you're focused on what you love. What do you love that you no longer have time for? How might you find time for it?

As I read your post, this thought came to mind; "Throw away the watch."

I'd say just about everyone under 30 has. They rely on the clock inside their cellphone. Call me old-fashioned, but still like waering a watch.

What a wonderful find that old clock was! Something so poetic about it. I'm lucky to have all my time to myself these days, to do whatever I love.

Enjoy every minute. I was thrilled to come across it. Another reason to keep one's eyes open.

You really gave me pause for this one. So many things I no longer do because of too many reasons and too many reasons that are not my choice at all. So how can I fix this? More to ponder on. I like how you make me think and consider Layla.
