Arizona Donkeys and Illegal Grafitti

Photo quote de jour

The recent tragic killings in Arizona made me re-examine my recent trip there. It's a beautiful state with spectacular natural scenery. I didn't see anyone sporting a gun, but there was a humongous shooting range close to where we were staying which unsettled me. I'm all for more gun control. Nearby, a small herd of wild donkeys brought me profound joy to see them free instead of working as beasts of burden. It inspired the silly aphorism.

As a lover of graffiti, this one made me get of the car and study it. "There are no illegals". What message did the writer want us to impart? Since the state is rife with illegals, I had to think bigger and existential. Aren't we all global citizens on this planet? From outer space, we're just a big blue ball without borders. Or, am I missing something. Care to fill me in?
