An Ocean of Peace
When I woke up this morning to six fresh inches of snow, my mind did flip flops. Pretty snow covered branches. No, I'm sick of winter. Quiet blanket of calm. No, it's cold. Spring is percolating in the sap of trees. Who cares? I want to be back on the beach, NOW. And just like that, I was, and so are you. When I found a long stick on the beach a week ago, my first instinct was to write something and I wrote "I love you" as a love letter from the sea to next passerby. A big wave washed it away. Undeterred, I scratched a peace sign in the sand further from lapping surf but as you can see, the sea had other ideas.
We can't stop the waves from crashing, and our thoughts like waves will continue to ebb and flow. But, we can catch peace in between the inhalation and exhalation of every breath and between each thought. We can also find peace by providing peace for others. Peace is catching, pass it on...

An ocean of thanks for this!

Nice pictures and winter thoughts!
We had such forgiven weather here down North Carolina.
