Choose Change

Photo quote de jour

Change and transformation is what everyone claims to want, and yet so many stay of us stay stuck. The key to the making successful change is letting go of fear and doubt. ironically, I've found that some of the fear surrounding change is about the fear of success or that once a choice is made it's carved in stone. Nothing is carved in stone. Make your intention for change and then surrender to the outcome. Every gain comes with a loss. The moment we start the gears in motion it will gain momentum. Just begin! Take the first step, no matter how small. Remember not making a change when needed is a choice as well. It's more empowering to make a change ourselves before we are forced to.

The trouble is we expect today to be the same as yesterday, and tomorrow the same as today. And so we're unprepared for change, the unexpected, which is reality.

Yes, Change is scary and I tend to resist it, preferring to try my luck at fortune telling so I can predict it. Ha.

    My predictions:

The US economy will continue with ups and downs and will never return to what it was in the 60s, or 80s or 90s. The gaps will increase.

    My marriage will last.

    Spring will come.

I will get published by my choice of publisher in the next two years.

Hopefully to get a contract in 2011.

I love your predictions except for the first one because it's probably and sadly true.

Yes scary and sad. But in the US, we can reinvent ourselves pretty easily. And if we live low to the ground (wool, vegetarian, etc.) we will feel the bumps less.

I love that you mentioned not choosing is a choice. Sometimes it's even the best choice, depending. But we all need to realize that staying put - or stuck - is most definitely a choice.

True, but sometimes not choosing is procrastination and we miss out.
