Cat Saturday- Sitting Pretty

Photo quote de jour

There are many pampered pets like mine and maybe yours, but not all cats are stting pretty. As animal lovers we must continue to shed light on those in need. My heart still goes out to the cats and dogs homeless in Japan or on the street because they aren't welcome in the shelters for humans. Good info here and how to help. Global Animal.org
This week has been super busy and I'm happy to report no catastrophes at home, well, almost. Odin stole my favorite earrings, escaped again but learned not to fall out of trees. A house guest (without my knowledge) let all the cats out and miraculously Odin simply raced back and both across the lawn without his leash. Some tense moments later, all is well that ends well. There 's more but  I don't have time to to tell you everything except I'm beginning to think he could be a feline version of Marley and Me. In any case, Odin, has a future as a cat burglar or magician. He managed to find, open and eat the contents of a bag of treats from a closed cabinet. He is so busted!

Cat in happy homes are confident like Tommy.

Bratty bad boy Odin still squeezes into the kitty bed I got him as a kitten but
but he'd much he'd rather be sitting outside with his pal Domino.

And Merlin and Gris Gris, the old boys roll their eyes at his antics and have this to say...

I'll report more about that idea and about the Wags & Whiskers fundraiser I volunteered  with and attended last night . I'll just say this, it was amazing!

I think Oden is doing you the huge favor of providing tons of information for you so you can write a book. He does sound like quite a character and you need to write more about him. Glad to see Dom in the mix. We want to hear all about last night too. Hope they raised a lot of money.

God, I need to hire out Odin to catch the mouse. Our boys catch it, play with it, then lose it. Or they drag it in their mouths, open mouth and lose it. Mouse 2, Cats 0.

We had big adventures middle of the night.

Odin is sooo cute and Domino knows what's good for him.

Your older boys are so regal.

Gris Gris would catch your mouse with one lightening flick of his paw. Your boys are lovers not fighters?

Grsi Gris is da man. Yep, my boys are lovers, spoiled foodaholics. They play, but can't bring it home. The poor mouse squeaks.

Odin may have nine lives, but I'm starting to worry about the number of years he may be taking off of yours with all his antics!

Love the "cat kiss" photo with Domino.
