Crisis or Opportunity?
Photo quote de jour
So my hard drive fried today just when so many wonderful things are happening with this blog and other online projects. The Chinese word for crisis is the same as opportunity. I don't shy away from problems but prefer to meet them head on. I'm writing this on a borrowed laptop without access to my photo archive or other files. Yeah, I know I know, why not have cloud computing or some other tech sensible backup, but I don't and weirdly enough I don't mind this bare bones approach. The only image I'd uploaded recently and not posted and could download was this one. It turned one crisis into an opportunity. My cat Merlin loves lounging on the porch in warm weather. Of course he was no help cleaning up what I call the summer living room. He has the right attitude. Yes, porch season is officially open and maybe I'm supposed to be chilling with cocktail instead of fretting over something I have no control over. It's a new week. What will you make a priority?

Not porch weather here yet. Maybe next week. Expecting lots more rain, and maybe some flooding. But the lilacs are out and inspired this:
"May, lilacs again! How refreshingly unoriginal."

Love lilacs. Rain here too all week and sad about not being able to post the latest flora.
