Romance By Rumi
Photo quote de jour
This poem by Rumi, could be looked at as a romantic sentiment or a spiritual awakening. In either case, it's about surrendering to something bigger than ourselves, to love.

And because it's June, the season of brides and the gardens are at their peak of loveliness, here's one more reason to get off the computer or other device. Open your heart. Surrender to the romance by Rumi. Stop and smell the flowers.
There comes a holy
and transparent time
when every touch
of beauty
opens the heart
to tears.
This is the time
the Beloved of heaven
is brought tenderly on earth.
This is the time
of the opening
of the Rose.

Ok ok my curiosity has got to me. I have long admired your photos. Ihave not mentioned I like the way you put words into the photograph. What software product do you use? Would you recommend it? Thank you for the beauty you bring into my life.

I stopped using PhotoShop and depend on good old free Picasa which is partnered with PicNik. It's more than enough tools to have fun. Let me know how you like it.

Using Picasa/Nikpic is a surprise. Thank you. I will look into it. In the the past I used Picasa and did not like it.

More mystical than romantic. You're the romance gal.

Both poems are beautiful. I love the rose both as a flower and a poetic image.
